Winged Eye liner

Urban Decay Book of Shadows NY

Hi! This blog is about winged eye liner.. i hope you will like this!
Btw, Since this is a winged eye liner tutorial, you can use any eyeshadow that you want. With this,I used Urban Decay Book of Shadows NY for my eyes
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Apply before your eyeshadow for more vibrant CREASE-FREE color that lasts for 24 hours (this is optional)

***********************************************

After a minute of applying the eyeshadow primer, I am using UDs BOS NY's SIN shade as the base eye shadow. Just apply all through out the eye lids using your eye shadow brush.

With the UD BOS's SWF shade, apply it on the corner of your eyes up until your crease in a "v" shape motion.

Next, using the same brush and eye shadow palette,i am now using the SMOG shade. Just apply on space before the corner of your eye lids up until the lash line

For a high light, i am using Sara St. James' earth tone color shadow and apply it on my brow bone using a defining eye brush

for a perfect contour of the shape of your eyes, use a black eye shadow first to draw a shadow image of your eyes(using an eye liner brush). I am using oil slick shade (still from the UD's Book of shadows palette) Start from the half part of your lower eyelids then extend it out to the corner of your eye. From the tip of that, make a v shape and apply the rest of the eye shadow on the upper lash line
Using a gel liner, just repeat what you did when you apply the oil slick eye shadow but extend it to the other corner of your eyes
No mascara yet

again, using the eye liner brush, polish any rough edges that the gel liner made
No mascara yet

for my eye brows, i used estee lauder's artist's eye brown pencil. contour the eye brows using a brow brush
then use a mascara of your choice
curl curl curl :)

Everyday Taupe Tutorial

This make up is great for Office because it's not too heavy or light. You can also wear this make up even after office (Dinner/Drink with friends)

It make seem complicated but it's not. I just made everything detailed. You must also remember to use the correct brush for a proper blending and application..:)

I used Estee lauder Sugar Honey Eyeshadow with my eyeshadow Brush..Even out.

Using the same brush, i applied Urban Decay's Twice Baked (corner part of my eye lid, just like making a shape like a sliced pizza)

Using a different brush which is the Defining Eye brush, i applied Urban Decay's Oil Slick (the corner of my eye lids. Just make a "C" shape just like what i did and extend a bit in the crease area)

Using the same brush (defining eye brush) i used Urban Decay's Blunt eye shadow and applied it in my brow bone for a great highlight of the eyes. Even it out properly so it wont look too shimmery.

Sorry this is PART 5.. I overlooked the series :D

Next, using a Blending Brush, Blend everything you applied in your eyelid (not all through out.. just the part where you applied the twice baked and the oil slick :)
PART 6

Using an eyeliner brush, I am applying Maybelline's Gel Liner (Black) Just contour the shape of your eyes since we are achieving a wearable make up (not a party look) for everyday look :)

PART 7

Using my Urban Decay 24/7 pencil eye liner (my lower eyelids and water line)
PART 8
Using an different eyeliner brush, i started blending and evening out the pencil liner just to make that light smokey look in my lower eye lids
PART 9

For my lashes, i will apply a lash primer by estee lauder.

and then my Urban Decay's Big Fatty Mascara a minute after applying the Lash Primer
PART 11

And then for my eyebrows, i am using in2it's eyebrow shadow liner.

************************************************************************
No Oil slick yet and eyeliner..

Celebrating my Natal Day @Kanin Club

Kanin Club's menu is composed mainly of Filipino food with a modicum of foreign inspired dishes that have also become locally popular.

Kanin Club has been my all-time favorite Filipino restaurant since it opened in Alabang west gate, I decided to celebrate my Birthday here this year with my family and write about it since this is the 1st time that I will celebrate a life event here because most of my visit were just to have a casual lunch with friends.

We ordered, Of course the famous crispy dinuguan. I can say that it’s their most copied signature dish. The pork was deep-fried to a crisp then set in a semi-dry stew of pork blood. They say that this proven to have convinced non-dinuguan eaters to like the dish.

We tried the Thai Mango Green Salad. Slivered green mangoes, onions, cilantro and peanuts, sprinkled with a sweet-salty mix. I’ve tasted this in Bangkok and I can say that it’s almost the same.

Beef kare-kare. A Beef tripe, pork leg chunks and vegetables cooked in a peanut sauce. It’s served with bagoong.

Niligang Tadyang na Baka. A tender beef ribs slow-cooked to make a hearty beefy broth.

We had sago't gulaman for drinks. This is heaven!! It ruined my diet though hahaha :D

We had aligue rice. This fried rice sautéed with crab fat. So tasty! I always order this whenever I visit Kanin Club

Sigarilyas Express

Laing

We also tried (did we not try almost everything?? haha ) sigarilyas express and Laing. Both were awesomely delicious!

For our dessert, we had Turon ala mode.It has four deep fried rolls and  a large frozen scoop of cheese ice cream. Hardened caramel with sesame seeds cover portions of each roll's top. I love the sweetened coconut strips that slowly ooze out and the combination with monggo beans and ube

Kanin Club is one of the best Filipino restaurants out there. Pinoy style comfort food at its finest. With a large number of great dishes that for sure you will start frequenting their place because you'll get your money's worth.

You gotta love YABU...The house of Katsu

Nice Wall accent near the Kitchen Area of YABU MOA

My Sister and i were really curious about Yabu Japanese Restaurant. It is all over twitter, instagram, and facebook. So when we had the chance, we visited newest branch at SM Mall of Asia. I think it’s about time this restaurant settled down south and now that its SM Southmall branch will open in February 2013, which is closer to where I live, I can get my katsu fix a lot more often!

Tarp (teaser) for YABU SM Southmall Branch

Yabu is a really cozy place to dine in. The branch holds the same aesthetic as the flagship store, which is in Megamall, and the Magnolia branch.

As we reached the Yabu MOA branch, we were assisted by a server who asked us politely to wait to be seated. The place was packed considering it was not off-peak when we went there! It is amazing that the place can accommodate so many people. There was a line and we waited outside to reserve a table but it was not that much of a delay. We were greeted by an enthusiastic staff even if the restaurant was full of guests.

The moment we were ushered to our table, one of the servers approached us to hand the menu and gave us a brief background about its content and what sauce is best for every katsu since it was our first visit. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry. It’s served with unlimited Japanese rice, miso soup, Japanese pickles, unlimited cabbage with sesame dressing and a bowl of fruit. You can Add Php20.00 for a fried egg. My sister ordered Rosu Pork Loin Set. It’s a ¾ thick, juicy pork cutlet with trimming of fat. I’m on a diet but the moment I tasted the curry and the katsu combination, I was in awe! Goodbye diet.

I happened to also taste the soft shell crab once from a take out bag. Even if it was not served right out of the kitchen I still liked it. I also find it amazing that you can literally eat everything listed on their menu, like everything tastes good.

That dining experience I had with Yabu was truly remarkable. Yabu's staff were all so kind and very polite! There is also one thing that impressed me with the servers of this branch: There were a lot of guests that time but the server who was assigned to us was very attentive to the point that he made sure that I will NEVER ask for a refill of iced tea (even the ice!!) When my glass is almost half empty, he will come over and give me a refill right away without having to call their attention for it. That really amazed me - the extra mile service. Those things I always appreciate when I go to a certain establishment, because really, it's not just eating the food, it's also how the staff serves you with heart and passion that makes the experience delightful and memorable!
