I always find time to visit the waxing
salon every 2 to 3 months but I recently, got busy so I decided to shave my
legs and underarm so I can still wear sleeveless and shorts since I do not have
the time to visit my waxing lady. I am really not a fan of shaving. Yes I know
that it is a pain-free and quick way to get rid of unwanted hair,
you can do it yourself at home or anywhere, without any assistance and with the
arrival of electronic shavers and epilators, which have further simplified the
process as you don’t need water or gel to do it. You also have the option if
you want to use the cheap razors (disposable or not) that are not expensive or the
electronic ones that are a one-time investment.

Shaving comes in handy during a beauty
emergency when you don’t have time to go to the waxing salon. What I hate about
it is that it can irritate the skin and leave it feeling dry and itchy. Also,
it is a very temporary solution and depending on one’s hair growth, you will
have to shave very frequently. It can result in a lot of undergrowth, where the
hair grows inside the skin and leaves a black mark on the outside that makes it
look like a chicken skin and makes your underarm appear darker because shaving
may result in thicker and darker-looking hair growth. You can also feel the
hard hair growth if you touch against the hair growth side.
Since I can no longer stand shaving
again, I tried this product called STRIP IT HAIR REMOVAL SUGARING.I actually have a friend who is
recommending it to me but since I still have the time to go to the waxing
salon, I did not bother trying it before. Also, I cannot imagine myself waxing on my
own since you have to use a strong force to remove the hair and I do not have
the guts to do it haha.
Anyway,
so I tried it and I was satisfied with the result. I bought the smallest jar
which cost P170 only with free spatula, an instruction manual, and stripping
cloth. You can buy the stripping cloth set for P25 only if ever you ran out of
it. Btw, the stripping cloth is washable so you do not really need to buy as
long as it is still in good condition and can still serve its purpose. Strip it
smells like sweet syrup and it does not harden, if stored in room temperature.
The manual says you can heat the jar in the microwave but I prefer not heating
it anymore since Strip it is very easy to use and to apply already as it is.
If I will compare my expenses if I went
to the waxing salon compared to using strip it hair removal sugaring, I can
save tons of money plus I do not have to allot a fee for the tip since I am the
one who is doing it already. With my estimate on how many times I can use the
smallest jar, I think it will last for a year if I am going to use it only for
my underarm, but if I am going to use it for any other parts such as the legs
or bikini area, I think I will be needing the biggest tub (which cost P370, I
think) for the whole year.
Overall, it was a good experience since I
can wax in the comfort of my own home and I can save a lot of money. I highly
recommend this product because it is all Natural, convenient and very affordable.
